[NJ] How is a colonoscopy classified by health insurance providers?

Looking at plan coverage breakdowns, I’m not sure whether procedures that are not surgery but are invasive would be considered “hospital outpatient care”, “outpatient surgery”, “specialist visit”, etc.

I’m getting sedated and having a camera shoved up my butt where if they do find polyps, they’ll be removing them and testing them, so it’s more than a “specialist visit” in that it’s not just a consult, but it’s not a “slice me open, doc” surgery, so when I’m looking at these plan breakdowns I have no idea what I should be considering the $3,000 cost to be.

I.e. If it’s a classification that is included in my deductible, I will be paying my deductible only. If it’s a category that isn’t included in my deductible, I’ll be paying a lot more.
