A rep from NYSOH just informed me that in order to see a provider with Medicaid, they have to accept Medicaid AND whatever private company is managing the claims (eg Fidelis) I was also told that in order to see a provider that takes the essential plan, the two are separate plans and so I need to see a doctor that takes the Essential Plan AND whatever private company is managing those claims.
In your experience, are selections larger with any one of Medicaid and the Essential Plan?
For that matter, are your benefits/coverage better with Medicaid vs an Essential Plan in your experience?
