Hello,
I am going to have 0 income this year, but I have too many assets to qualify for medicare. I applied on healthcare.gov and was told to contact my state medicaid agency and I’m locked out of buying any plans even without the subsidy. I can’t get medicaid because I have too many assets. Is there a way I can just purchase a catastrophic plan outside of the marketplace? How am I supposed to get insurance if I make less than $17,000 but have more assets than Medicaid allows?
