It’s possible I may be completely misunderstanding how insurance works, so this might be a dumb question. I recently started a new medication. When I went to pick it up at the pharmacy they told me it wasn’t covered. I asked how much out of pocket. They told me $52. I agreed to pay it and when I looked at the receipt it said CASH: $179, COPAY: $52. Doesn’t that mean it was partially covered? What am I missing here?
