Hello all, I am a contract worker and I would greatly appreciate your help in choosing the best health insurance option offered by my employer (staffing agency). I plan to work with this agency for a year.
I created an excel sheet to quickly compare the 4 different plans offered by my employer. The link below is a screenshot of this comparison table.

Personal Info:
Age: late 20s
Zipcode: San Joaquin County, California
Income: $910/week. Premiums are weekly also.
Briefly, my regular medical needs are listed below:
Presriptions:
I have 2 monthly generic prescriptions: A and B. Prices are based on goodrx.com
Drug A (30 tablets of 200 mg):
- average retail price is $85 for 30 tablets of 100 mg, but my prescription is 200mg, but I can’t find the price for that.
- average coupon price is $15
Drug B (30 tablets of 100 mcg):
- average retail price is $16 for 30 tablets at 50 mcg, but my prescriptiuon is 100mcg, but can’t find its price
- average coupon price is $12.70
Regarding prescription discount cards, can I use them while my insurance coverage hasn’t kicked in before meeting the deductible?
Doctorss visits:
Primary physician roughly every 6 months
Specialist roughly every 6 months
Mental health care every 3-4 months <– (I’d like to keep my therapist, though they don’t accept Kaiser)
_________
Please let me know if you need more information to better assess my situation.
I appreciate your insight. Thanks in advance!
