I just injured myself and im definitely going to need surgery, I’m also on workers comp for another injury but I don’t know if they are going to deny my case and not add it or any of the drs in their network that perform this surgery.
So I bought insurance 2 days later and I’m wondering if this will be treated as a pre existing condition and won’t be covered.
I went to the hospital the day of the injury and had an xray taken(nothing broken but they recommended a MRI)-under workers comp
I saw one of the workers comp drs who put the paperwork in for an MRI(I’m waiting for the approval).
I hope the hospital visit and the workers comp doctor won’t stop my insurance from covering this, there has been no diagnosis and I had to fight for her to give me the MRI prescription.
