My partner and I have been outside the U.S. for the last 14 months because of COVID and have been on international health insurance that does not cover us when we return to the U.S.
We are planning on returning to the states in June and want to start trying to get pregnant in September.
It’s our understanding that there’s no way to get private short term health insurance that covers pregnancy care and that we won’t qualify to sign up for obamacare as we haven’t had U.S. insurance at all over the last 12 months
Does anyone have any ideas for us or are we going to need to wait to start trying until 2022? Thanks!
