I want to sign up for private health insurance. I am based in NY but looking for a national PPO plan because I travel extensively for work. I have a pre-existing condition which the ACA says doesn’t eliminate me from plans except all of the private brokers I talk to tell me they cannot offer me a plan and their plans don’t cover diabetes or that I would not be eligible for their plans…
Can someone please explain this to me?
