I’m covered under my HDHP from my employer (large company >5,000 employees). On my old HDHP with my previous employer, my prescription for lo lo estrin was covered at 100% and I paid $0 for it. Under my new plan, I have to pay full retail price as a tier 3. I use a manufacturer coupon, but for some reason the 3 month fill is more than 3-1 month fills. 2 questions: 1) the pharmacy now says that the insurance is refusing to fill 1 month at a time and will only fill 3 months. Can they force me to do this? 2) since this is self funded, is it possible to petition my benefits dept to cover this?
