If it matters it’s Cigna EPO in the state of Florida purchased via marketplace with January 1 as an effective date. I called to make an appointment at a recommended specialists office but they (the specialist office) said that they do not take this variant of Cigna. On the Cigna site it says they do take it ? According to market place it’s a new plan offering for 2021.
Is the office staff likely just unaware of this fact or is it common that the website will list providers that do not accept the policy? If it’s a simple mistake how do I let the specialist know that they do in fact take the policy?
