Hi there! I called my provider (Cigna) to try to understand a $500 charge being applied for procedure my wife received a few months back. That representative said there was a mistake and it should be $50 not $500. I asked for something to that affect in writing but she said she wasn’t able to produce anything, but that all calls were recorded. Now they are back to saying it actually is $500. Any chance they will make an exception and reduce the $500 to $50 if I make them admit their representative screwed up and told me it was just $50. I really did make financial decisions based on that statement so seems like a reasonable thing for them to do.
