Hi all, I quit my job and got a new one, but there is a one week gap between jobs where I won’t have health insurance. My insurance plan covers my whole family, and although unlikely i worry about one of my kids becoming sick or injured in that one week gap.
I’ve never used cobra before and don’t really understand it, do I need to enroll for that one week gap to cover my ass? I’ve read the documents but honestly still a bit confused.
Any advice on how I should handle this would be greatly appreciated!
