Questions about BCBS North Carolina

Hey all. I have a couple questions regarding coverage here in NC. (27863)

My wife (27) is pregnant with twins. We planned on having her quit her job to stay home with them… until we found out how much insurance is through my work for our entire family.

I started looking around at Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. When asking for quotes, should I state that we have an income of just my salary ($50,000), or both of ours ($90,000)? There seems to be a big difference in subsidies. I would think that we would want to start coverage after the twins are born, and she leaves her job.

Should I quote for a household of two or a household of four?
