I received a bill for my newborn daughter that shows I owe almost $1000 for inpatient pediatric visits and the actual delivery. The bill lists the wrong hospital as the location of service and it is in my daughters name and not my wife’s. It says they do not have insurance for her, so I will get that straightened out. My question is: do I have to pay an inpatient deductible for my daughter as well? I thought my wife’s coverage got us until they were discharged from the hospital.
