I guess this might seem like an odd question, but I’ve looked everywhere in my account and can’t figure it out.
I have Kaiser, and they call/text/email/snail mail me CONSTANTLY. As in, 2+ phones call per day, plus emails, plus texts – all of them say the same thing. In the last 2 days I’ve gotten 4 phone calls, 2 texts, and 3 emails to tell that a) I went to the doctor, b) she ordered blood work and I need to get it done, and c) she sent me a message. Then the snail mail: I get 2-5 copies of the same letter that says the same thing. In one month I’ve received 12 snail mail letters. All of my bills are paid; I use auto pay for premiums and I’ve been to the doctor exactly one time. It’s gotten to the point where I just tear up any letter than says Kaiser on it. I’m exhausted and really annoyed. I do not want my health insurance company to be this intrusive. I do not need or want this much contact.
It’s to the point where I am actually considering discontinuing my health insurance entirely because it’s extremely disruptive and annoying. All I need routinely is my blood pressure medication. That’s it. I don’t need parental figures. I’m a grown up and I can take care of myself and I can remember my own sh*t.
There seems to be no way in my account to minimize or reduce contact. Does anyone know if I can somehow do that?
