My spouse volunatrily ended her health insurance by 1/1/2022. She moved states (to move in with me) 2/1/2022. I wanted to add her to my (employer-offered) health insurance so I made an application to change my current insurance based on qualifying event. My request was denied, they stated that moving states is not a qualifying event for SEP. Who is in the right here?
