Should I get vaccine if I don’t have health insurance? (Doctor follow-ups needed?)

Hello! I live in the United States & I’m in my twenties so I don’t have health insurance. (Don’t qualify for charity care but can’t afford health insurance).

I understand that you do not need health insurance to GET the initial vaccine, HOWEVER…

Does getting the vaccine require a follow-up? Will I need to go see a doctor like a month later to check up on it or something? I can’t afford to see doctors later, so do you think it’s a safer bet to just avoid the vaccine in the first place? Thank you!
