Should I see an in-network Therapist or Out-of-network?

I’ve been reading that it’s better to see someone out-of-network, because they are then not obliged to share details about your sessions with the Insurance company. Is this true?

However, I’ve also read that one can obtain a Superbill from the out-of-network therapist to provide to the insurance company for some sort of a reimbursement. If the insurance company reimburses a portion of the bill, does that mean the therapist is then required to share information about your sessions to be HIPAA compliant?

Looking for guidance to get my journey to mental health wellness started.

Edit: I’m in Florida.
