Hello, I just turned 26 and I’m from Florida. I’m on a family plan for insurance. It’s a blue cross/blue shield. I’ve been going to therapy for the last year, and I believe that this year I’m getting kicked off the plan since I’m 26. I went to look up some quotes and one of the questions they asked was ‘Do you attend mental health counseling in the last year” when I hit “yes” it came back with a high premium. So, how does this work? If I simply stop going for 1 year will that help me get cheaper insurance? and then I can go without it increasing?
