Stay On Employer’s Plan? — Central Texas

My husband and I are both in our early 30’s and have no chronic health issues at all. We have high deductible health insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield through my employer currently. It has a deductible of $5000 per person/$10,000 per family. I pay $555 monthly just for the medical insurance for both of us. I am interested in potentially moving to free market insurance since we’ve only used the insurance for preventative check ups for years anyway. I’ve looked at ACA options and am contemplating the Oscar Bronze Classic. It has a $6000 individual/$12,000 family deductible and will be around $341 monthly.

My question is if this is a risky choice or a good financial decision? Is Oscar a solid insurance company or is it one of the ones that doesn’t actually cover anything? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
