Struggling to pay for my health insurance (Florida, USA)

I currently pay $211 (National General which already sucks) a month for health insurance, but I almost always struggle to pay it monthly. I honestly can barely afford it. I tried signing up for the healthcare.gov and after putting in my information, I apparently make too much $12.88/hr & I only work 16 hrs a week. . . Is there anyway I can get cheaper insurance? I require it for school (nursing program requirement) & I just am tired of the drain on my already limited finances. Any other insurance I can maybe switch to? Or a way for lower insurance rates?
