Hi. We have a patient with high deductible plan at our office, we filed the claim to his insurance and it came back with very high patients responsibility. Our self-pay rates are lower that his deductible for the date of service. He wants us to switch him to self-pay. Is it allowed to void the claim and have patient pay out-of-pocket instead, if the claim has already been processed?
