I’ve been on my parents’ insurance (BCBS, PPO). I’m an unemployed college student. I’m on a bunch of expensive prescription medications and I see a bunch of doctors, including a therapist, psychiatrist, and dermatologist. So, I definitely can’t lapse insurance. I’m getting married later this year. The original plan was to marry in October, but we might move up the wedding. I doubt we can move it up as soon as April, though. Fiancé has insurance (BCBS) through his job, but his plan isn’t as great as my parents’. It’s embarrassing how little I know about health insurance, but please spare me the lecture. Is Medicaid my best bet at this point?
EDIT: ZIP code is 21620
