I have a complicated illness and currently have Kaiser insurance. I really want to stay with Kaiser because I’ve exhausted most the other doctor’s in other groups and forth and their care lacking.
Due to the amount of specialists I see, keeping Kaiser just makes life easier. I recently switched jobs making a significantly more amount of money knowing I’ll have to pay for Kaiser separately if I choose.
The issue I have is, my company offers a lot of seed money for their HSA HDHP. I believe I HAVE to elect into their hdhp to get the benefit of the money, even if I have a hdhp elsewhere.
If I do, which plan would be my primary? Kaiser hdhp(out of pocket -private ) or this new plan under united healthcare through work. I don’t want to use uhc doctors so that would be an issue. I just want the seed money.
