I just moved from Germany to Michigan (dual citizenship) I applied for health insurance as soon as possible and while trying to figure out if I’m eligible for Medicaid I accepted another plan that started September first, bc I had some issues and needed to see a doctor as quickly as I could.
Now I got a letter saying I got approved for a different plan (HMP) which is the better plan, the insurance I have has such a bad rating and I want the state one. But what do I do now? Do I just cancel the plan I already had? Should I call my case worker and let her know that I already have a plan? Will I risk being uninsured then? Or even worse? I’m so stressed out…
