turning 18 soon and want to seek an adhd assessment without my parents’ knowledge for various reasons. however, i’ll still be attached to them via insurance (medicaid; coverage is extended for past my 18th birthday bc covid). i found a place that’s relatively affordable for uninsured patients- is it possible to go there as uninsured, or would the identifying information i give them mean that my visit will somehow make its way back to my parents? i have zero knowledge of u.s. health privacy policies, would appreciate help from someone who does
