I recently found full time employment and my employer is offering benefits including vision. I was able to cancel my health and dental insurance with a click of the button ending at the end of January, but my vision insurance through VSP is becoming an issue.
They say that my policy is for 12 months and therefore they cannot cancel it until the end of Sep 2022 (which is the end of the policy).
Is this even legal? I’ve never heard of an insurance not allowing you to cancel since you’re on a different plan.
