What are my options?

Hello Insurance experts, I have a question I need help with —

My family of 3’s health insurance expires in the next week. I have just started another job, and have new insurance scheduled to start 60 days after our current insurance expires.

So we will be without insurance for 2 months. I can continue to have our existing insurance by paying out of pocket, or we can go insurance-less for 60 days.

It’s rather expensive so I’d prefer to not pay out of pocket. Is it possible to quickly enroll in Medicaid or some cheaper option to cover us for the 60 days period, or would it be best for me to cough up for the cobra insurance? I just want to know what my options are. Thank you for your help.

Edit: We are a couple in our mid 20s with a one year old daughter.
