I know obviously premiums don’t count, out of network, costs above what is allowed, etc., but I had none of those last year. I paid about $6,200 last year with an out of pocket max of $3k. United says I didn’t hit the out of pocket max. On myuhc.com, I found a great report that shows “You May Owe” for all of the claims for a given date range, and it matches exactly to the penny what I paid. Is there a way to show why I had to pay over twice extra? I’ve talked to their CS many times, and they claim to not have a report that shows them that information. I believe them.
I’m not mad at them since I had over a quarter of a million in bills last year, but I’m curious as to why I had to pay the $3,200 extra over my $3k out of pocket max.
