What in the world does this mean? Maternity health coverage is indecipherable

Hi all,

I have been been reading this over and over and I just cannot understand the wording of my insurance policy.

Maternity Care Services

Initial Visit to Confirm Pregnancy

——>>>No charge after the $20 PCP or $40. Specialist per office visit copay

All subsequent Prenatal Visits, Postnatal Visits and Physician’s Delivery Charges (i.e. global maternity fee)

—–>>>>80% after plan deductible

Physician’s Office Visits in addition to the global maternity fee when performed by an OB/GYN or Specialist

——>>>>> No charge after the $20 PCP or $40 Specialist per office visit copay

So, after the initial visit to confirm a pregnancy…..what is the cost for regular prenatal follow ups? The second and third paragraphs appear contradictory. Is it “no charge” after the copay because prenatal visits are performed by an OB/GYN, or is it going to hit the deductible and coinsurance?

Before anyone says, “call and ask,” I have called this company dozens of times because they keep messing up my bills. No one has any idea what they are doing and they don’t communicate with each other.

I am here to double check their work but I don’t understand this provision on the policy,
