Hey Ya’ll!
Age: 35
Zipcode: 89119 (Vegas) & Various in LA
Income: approx 70k annually
I’m currently couch surfing out in CA as I kinda decided to move for work, but my field (reality tv production) is so up in the air with our schedules (are we filming/not filming). Don’t know what the future holds, which is the reason why I’m super hesitant in moving here permanently.
There are a few weeks where we film 3-4 days a week for 2-3 weeks then won’t film for a week and a half-two weeks, then we film for 5 days etc. (P.S. we get tested practically everyday when we’re on set & when
What I have been doing is just going back home to Vegas during those long non-shoot breaks, plus i’m attending college remotely while working in CA over at UNLV.
My question is, what is the best insurance choice for me? It seems like everything is state specific (i.e. Covered California or Nevada specific stuff) & if there was a specific insurance company that I should go with (i’d heavily prefer to pay a higher premium – i’m freelance so i’m paying for myself individually) so that I can see doctors in both states?
Thanks ya’ll!
