I’m currently pregnant. Husband and I are both covered under our parents insurance for several more months. With our income, we qualify for our child to be covered under CHIP in our state and that is what we want to do. Obviously, I can’t put my child on CHIP until she’s born but who covers baby things that happen in the hospital before I can sign her up for CHIP? I don’t understand how any of this works. Insurance is so confusing to me.
