I had a minor dental emergency last month that required my dentist to come in on a Saturday morning. He told me the receptionist would be calling me to let me know about the bill before hand because I told him my insurance had changed earlier this year. Well, mail came and I have a bill with my previous insurance listed so they will not be covering any of the bill. It’s a small bill so it’s not a huge deal if I pay it in full, but is there any way to have my current insurance cover it?
For reference, my previous insurance was Delta Dental. Earlier this year when I became unemployed, I chose Fideliscare as my Medicaid provider for NYS with dental/vision coverage.
