They said as of today they are cancelling his insurance for this rehab they just moved him to less than a month ago, mentioning he’s not progressing. The facility is still wanting to keep him. Medicaid is already talking about seizing his assets? Panicked for my friend and would like to help him in any way possible.
A little background: his father was diagnosed with glioblastoma 4 months ago, employer has paid his insurance up until February. BC/BS had the facility call today to let us know they’re not paying for him anymore. Can anyone explain how this is legal?
