Dual Coverage Selection

Must Read

Hello! My husband and I have pretty good jobs with great insurance options. He has a PPO and I’m currently looking at the insurance options for my new company. I want do dual coverage myself and my kids.

If we both choose PPOs, would the second insurance fill in the gaps? Or should I chose an HMO? If I chose an HMO, I would need to change all of our current doctors and specialists. I’d prefer the PPO. But I want to make sure I’m not hit will huge bills and that the secondary coverage will take care of the rest. I remember having one of my kids with a PPO only and it was very expensive.

Thank you for any help you can provide.
