Adobe Captivate on M1 Mac – has anyone tested via Rosetta?

The M1 Macs have been around for a while now, and I need to update my Mac. However, I am not going to make the same mistake I made when upgrading to Big Sur, so instead want to ask the question. Has anyone tested Adobe Captivate on a M1 Mac using the Rosetta emulator?

I chatted with Adobe Captivate support online and asked them two questions:

  1. Is there a native version planned for silicon Macs (I know this is unlikely)
  2. Has Captivate been tested on M1 Macs using Rosetta

Getting answers to these questions was a little like pulling teeth. At first, they simply pointed me to the system requirements for Captivate. This does not help because, I already know there is no native version – but simply wanted to know if one was planned – and it doesn’t answer the question about Captivate using Rosetta.

Eventually I found out that no, there is no native version planned. So I am asking if anyone here has tested using Rosetta? What has been your experience?
