Hello! I am located in Arizona, USA.
My employer healthcare plan is through Banner Aetna. Last year I had the $5000 deductible plan. This year, I opted for the $1500 plan.
Today, I received the 3rd check made out TO me FROM Aetna Life Ins Co (title says it all). I have NOT met my deductible. Some of the statements state the balance i have left on my $5k deductible and other statements state the remaining balance for my current $1.5k deductible plan.
I’m confused on 1) why I’m receiving these (what appear to be) refund checks and 2) why I’m getting statements for my prior healthcare plan informing me of the remaining balance. Any insight anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!
