CA Medi- Cal: I’m confused! Not sure how to report income or employment changes to Medi-cal / Alameda County Social Services

Hi, I started a new temporary job this week (it ends on Christmas and is minimum wage) and have been trying to figure out how to report my new income to social services. Everything that I have found in the literature they have sent in the mail and what I have read online says to report changes to the social services office. I have tried calling every phone number I can find, which only takes me through their phone menu and I end up leaving my number so a representative can call me back. I first did this a month ago and finally, someone called me on Wednesday. They said I could report changes through mybenefitscalwin.org I registered for the site but still can’t figure it out. I have tried calling SS and went through the same process. I’m really at a loss. The social services rep did say they are not denying benefits to anyone because of Covid but I still have to report changes within ten days. I’m trying not to do anything wrong but I really don’t know what I am supposed to do. Has anyone else experienced this or could point me in the right direction? Is the system just wonkier than usual because of Covid?
