I was recently offered a job that has Cigna as their health provider. I turned 26 this year, so it’s my first time not being covered on my parents health insurance, which was Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield. I loved BCBS (everything was covered, even acupuncture!) but with my parents being teachers, I expect my next health insurance will be a downgrade.
Being young, I don’t have a whole lot of health needs but would like to see a therapist as well as a dermatologist to get my prescribed face ointment.
I’m curious if anyone has opinions on their experience with Cigna, especially if they’re in NYS or NYC.
