COVID PCR test claim denied?

I have Oscar insurance and recently had a COVID PCR test done (at an Urgent Care that shows up as being in the network, I live in NY state). There was a pretty big copay ($150) but I paid up since I needed to be sure I was negative after being exposed and I work with an elderly boss.

Oscar’s website says “Any COVID testing claim and associated office visit will be covered in full as long as it’s the same date of service as the testing claim.” However the claim was denied and I had to pay an additional $550!

None of this makes any sense to me. $700 seems like an obscene price for a PCR test and I cannot fathom why this claim was denied in any sense. Naturally I’ve only gotten FAQ bots responding to my messages on Oscar’s online portal. The Urgent care gave me a number to their “billing” department which doesn’t even ring, it’s only the busy signal.

I have reciepts, confirmation numbers, etc. but not sure how to proceed. Can anyone offer advice? All help greatly appreciated
