My good friend returned to California after living in Asia for a long time in July last year. He signed up for medi-cal but did not get around the the private health insurance. Last week he was diagnosed with cancer.
As his friends money is not an issue if we can buy health insurance to provide coverage even though he has already been diagnosed is it possible?
He is not employed so I presume it will be PPO. Among all of us pooling our money together we can afford up to 5k a month in costs.
Please help.
