Opened HSA 1/4, laid off 1/5, employer signed me up for wrong plan. Now what?

I signed up for a high deductible healthcare plan and opened my HSA on 1/4/21. I lost my job on 1/5/21. It looks like HR enrolled me in the wrong insurance plan after I received a letter about my election of a high deductible healthcare plan and needing to open an HSA since my institution did not offer one.

Where do I go from here? I’ve asked my employer two days in a row what happened and I’ve gotten no response.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
