My wife had BCBS ending 4/30/21. We paid for a month of Cobra to continue that health insurance. IE we paid enough to cover the first month. Our new insurance kicked in 6/1/21. Now our current health insurance carrier suddenly thinks that she still have BCBS. I called them today to make sure that we don’t, and they say we don’t. The company that administers the coverage is PlanSource, and I guess it’s possible they are the ones communicating that we still have coverage through BCBS. I’m not really sure what to do there. Molina is basically a call center only, so you will never be able to talk to anyone to handle your issue or tell you what’s going on. PlanSource is basically just a webapp that handles payments and stuff, with call center support on how to make payments. I’m pretty much lost here.
Molina has assured me multiple times that they were working on this, over a month ago now, but now they don’t know what is going on.
I’m not sure if I need to file some kind of complaint or get a legal advocate for Molina to cover my insurance claim. Anyone have any advice for me on this?
When I ask Molina to escalate my call they just keep repeating they are trying to help me or hang up. * spelling
