So during the first and second trimester you have bloodwork that is required by the state of CA, I just noticed that the first one was paid to “dept of ca” and my insurance listed it as “out of network” the second one I’m also being billed for, (both around $44 copay) but this one was billed to quest diagnostics even though I used my doctors office and it had some doctor I’ve never seen as the person who did my lab work. I’m assuming that because the bloodwork is mandatory I shouldn’t be charged for it? If I had known I would’ve refused it. They checked for drugs in my system which I obviously didn’t have, such a waste of my money.
