Individual: Do I have any reason to go through eHealth?

I tried, for my company, enrolling through Gusto and similar services but they require payroll services as well, which we don’t need. So I switched to just buying as an individual. I went to eHealth on a friend’s rec and found they seemed to be little more than a portal/frontend to the specific providers I’d end up using (Blue Shield, VSP, etc.)

Before I write them off, does eHealth provide any value beyond this aggregation, or should I just go direct with each individual service I’m after (med/vis/dent)?

Thanks so much all and stay safe out there! 🙂
