Hi! My insurance has denied a medication called IVIG for my small fiber neuropathy and POTS. We have exhausted all appeals as it was considered “experimental” for my conditions. It was initially approved, then denied after they saw I received one dose🤦🏻♀️ My medical history is rare and complicated so I don’t typically fit into boxes, however my doctors sent studies and wrote letters saying this was medical necessity. It was sent to a 3rd party for the final denial and Im being told i just can’t get the medication. Is there anything else I can do to get this approved or the cost covered? Thanks for any advice!
