Hello!! I had to get a crown put on my tooth at my dentist. I have double insurance, so after I got the temporary crown placed they said I owed a copay and that was it. I got a letter in the mail today saying one of my insurances denied my claim, leaving me on the hook for $1500. In the letter it said that a normal filling would fix it (per the dentist, it won’t) and tk get that done instead. Even if that would work, the tooth is already gone and i’m waiting for the impression of the permanent one to come in so they can place that one. I plan to call my dentist tomorrow and see if they can appeal it, but has this happened to anyone else?
