I just turned 30 and I was very pleased with my $200 catastrophic plan but unfortunatly its not eligible for people 30+. the max out of pocket was around 8k-9k, it didnt cover anything but i used to get 2 or 3 free check ups a year.
Right now im looking for something similar, something that would cover accidents like a broken bone or something sudden like appendicitis without me having to pay 30k+ (Im ok paying 10k for a big accident). I have a double citizenship and for anything medical I travel back home where I have a health plan and pay little to nothing for any medical thing, dental and vision.
Any recommendations? Right now im looking at bronze plans that are $500 a month with around 8k deductible but they only pay for 50% of anything. that can easily turn into a 100k bill from a big accident.
