I’m kind of nervous I did something wrong. I followed the directions on healthcare.gov to get the increased APTC from passage of the American Rescue Plan. I selected my current application and updated my income. I then got a determination of the increased APTC. After this I selected the same health plan I’ve been on. On this same health plan I have already met my max out of pocket for the year.
I logged in to my Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan portal tonight and it’s showing a coverage end date of my current policy on 5/1. This is the date my increased APTC is supposed to go in effect. I’m hoping this is just a shortcoming of their system why this is showing up the way it is.
I’m nervous my out of pockets are going to reset or somehow my coverage is going to terminate somehow… I wish this process was more user friendly 🙁
