My income is slightly above the poverty level but flexible. With a bit of adjustment I can qualify for either a marketplace plan or my state’s (MO) expanded medicaid. Is one clearly better than the other? I’m most concerned with the amount of hassle and surprise charges. Marketplace plans have been a nightmare but I know absolutely nothing about the medicaid experience.
